I bought this with great enthusiasm and was dying to cut off the tops of kombucha bottles to use for succulents, cuttings and plant swap gifts. I got 8 bottles. I still don't know what happened to the blade, if it's still there or not, but it no longer clogs bottles, that's for sure. As for 8 bottles, I haven't managed to use the candle/cold water method or the hot water/cold water method yet. I have never received a response from the sellers about replacing the blade. I wasn't asking for nothing just where I could get a clear idea of why, as it is now my bottle cutter could serve as a conversation starter just sitting on the windowsill but it's useless at the moment.
