Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Fintie Carry Case for Hori Split Pad Pro Controller - Shockproof Travel Bag with Game Card Slots for Nintendo Switch OLED - Galaxy by John Benjamin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent case, but not as shockproof and supportive as it could be.

Looks great! However, after I got my hands on this carrying case, it is very poorly designed compared to the regular BotW Switch carrying case. fits fully and the case itself has no structural center/screen support. There's room for the switch to wiggle, no matter how tight it is, you can feel the switch move inward slightly. The switch moves left and right about a quarter of an inch when the body is tilted/moved in either direction. (I have another switch case with a structural support that prevents the switch from moving when the case is at any angle or even upside down.) The top cap that houses the mesh pocket also worries me when something is in it as it creates unwanted pressure and movement on the hori sticks due to the stick's lack of shaping/insulation and not at all "shockproof" as advertised in the product photos. The hard case isn't that hard since it's dented with minimal pressure. In terms of design, it far surpasses my usual Joycon carrying case mentioned at the beginning, but unfortunately does not match the large Hori controls. I will use it but give 3 stars.
