This product, like most preshave products, helps. I gave it a try as it was cheaper than what I call historic established British products but note this material says it was made in the UK by Proctor and Gamble. Compared to more expensive oils, it's a bit sticky, needs more frequent rinsing and post-shave cleaning, and doesn't smear well. I won't throw away, but I will return to more expensive things. It's good value for money and does a reasonable job, but not the best out there. Give it a try, faces are different and it might work for some and save you a few bucks.
