As soon as they arrived I had a feeling they wouldn't last long... and I was right. The first picture shows a tiny hole formed in the "gold" material on one knee after the first wear. The second photo shows large holes in the "gold" after the second wear and wash. (I washed the pants inside out on a delicate fabric and lined them to dry, although the instructions say to machine wash and dry normally.) These pants received good reviews overall, but my experience with them was not very good.
