Review on Stant 27288 Thermostat Seal by Thasapon Keitt
Finally bought the right thing!
If you have a Jeep Liberty with a 2.4 liter engine, this is the thermostat rim gasket to use. Revain can offer you other options and they will look fine, but they will be too thick and if you tighten the screws the water case will crack. (Ask me how I know that.) If your body is on the top right of the engine when you look at the pulleys (I know the PT Cruiser gets a little dark and squirms) and it's 2.4 liters , that should be fine. To deceive. It's about 1/8 inch thinner than the Gates 33669 shim, which basically ruined my day.
