Toe seam stretched on my toenail on long runs
I've been wearing Balega running socks for years and have never had blisters or nail problems but they usually wear out every 5 years or so. I bought these running socks from Darn Tough hoping they would last longer. After wearing a few long runs of Darn Tough socks, I felt pain in my middle toe. I didn't think it could be socks but after a few more runs the pain continued and the nail turned black. I went back to my old Balega and the pain stopped immediately. Something in the toe seam of Darn Tough socks doesn't fit and is irritating my nails.
