Review on Time Standard Cleats Xpresso I CLIC2 by Ryan Cornelius

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not what I thought

I've been using TIME pedals since they were introduced in the late 1980's. I liked them because they allowed lateral movement of the knee when the pedal was moved. My knees are actually moving up and down straight but I figured why make a problem out of it? These special boots won't allow that. General. When they say "fixed," they mean it. Your feet don't move on the pedals at all. Not at all. It bothered me a little that I was locked up like that. I don't use float much, if at all, but the rigidity of the lack of lateral movement was confusing to me and honestly eliminates the main reason I'm a TIME fan. . The spikes do what they are supposed to. It's just not what I wanted. You can find similar ones.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad
