I bought two 24 inch 1080p 75Hz ultra thin Scepter monitors that only have two HDMI and VGA inputs but my aging but The still powerful Powercolor Red The Dragon AMD RX-GPU 560 4GB only has 1 DVI output, 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport output and the cheaper universal DisplayPort adapter just didn't make it, so I only allowed 60Hz on my main monitor , so I hooked up this and Manjaro Linux W/Mate DE and the latest open source AMD driver via the latest Linux kernel update both monitors now recognize at 75Hz and audio also works through the adapter on the main monitor speakers . So if you need a Displayport to HDMI adapter for resolutions up to 1080p 120Hz or 2K 60Hz, spend the extra money first time, save yourself the headache and get this adapter because IT WORKS!
