Review on Melissa & Doug Pattern Blocks and Boards Review: Classic Toy with 120 Solid Wood Shapes and 5 Double-Sided Panels by Raymond Gray

What adult doesn't remember playing with this at school? These are great blocks that not only help with imagination, color and shape recognition or pattern creation/recognition but also allow you to have fun with mom or dad or when they get a little older on their own. Our kids (4 & 2) love playing with these blocks and sorting them by colour/shape. The older child likes to follow the patterns on the cards and create the design that is in front of them. This is of very high quality, although the only complaint (not big enough to give it 4 stars) will be that the only 'lid' of the box is a piece of plastic that comes with the packaging. Whilst this works well to create a lid, once on the shelf it comes off easily and I'd rather have a better lid to actually keep the parts in the box if it's been made by these (these) before for example discussed children is dropped. . All in all we put this product up for sale before Christmas last year and have had a lot of fun with it ever since. Although not so new now, our kids still play with it and it's been a fun toy for our family. Definitely recommend.
