Review on πŸ”₯ Indera Youth Thermal Pants for Optimal Warmth and Comfort by Matt Conner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They're pretty comfortable, softer than expected and roomy for my son.

These Indera Camouflage Waffle Printed Youth Thermals seem to fit my youngest son (9 year old) quite well with some room to carry a spare . He usually wears a size 10-12 (L) for boys so fits that size although they have enough wiggle room to almost fit into the size category. I actually like that they have a bit of room to grow and move, but if you're looking for a snug fit you can size down. My youngest child has special sensory needs, so I have to be careful about what clothes I buy him. While he likes thermal underwear for regular morning/night wear around the house and to wear under clothing when playing outside in cold weather (and for what he likes to call "night pants"), some can be unattractive and have a rougher appearance. Texture. He seems to really like it and they are surprisingly soft compared to regular thermals. However, they are a bit thin. They are made of polyester, which explains a lot. It suits our purposes in spring/fall weather for a night's sleep and maybe a few light layers in cold weather, but they don't feel particularly warm like many other types. a breathable layer under clothing (or for sleeping) but I wouldn't count on them being very warm in harsher weather conditions.

Pros
  • Lightweight, super soft 5 ounce mini waffle fabric offers performance without the bulk of traditional waffle base layers
Cons
  • Expensive
