I did some tests with this to fix acrylic paint on models. Many people used to use a product called Future Floor Finish, which has since been renamed Pledge. Since then, Pledge has changed the name of the product several times, but at the time of writing, it's called "Pledge Revive it Floor Gloss" and is available at some hardware stores for a good price. Revain's price is ridiculous. Don't pay that money. Especially now that I have tested and can confirm that this product works even better than the Pledge product. It's harder, has better coverage, and does the same thing. In addition, Revain is much easier to get at a good price. So I would say it can be used on your models, Warhammer Minis, Reaper, Nolzur etc. If it's too shiny you can add some flat Tamiya base and it will flatter it. Or use this as an inexpensive first coat of varnish and then top it off with a flatter varnish like Dulcote from Testora if you can get hold of it.
