Review on PcProfessional Protector Spectre 15 DF0013DX Clarity by John Espindola

Only bought a pair (4) of these to protect HP Specter x360 4K OLED touchscreens 15-df0043dx. Laptops are used in my photo booth. Installation was easy, maybe because I'm used to installing vinyl graphics. The fit was snug, the top of the range was perfect, the height is a bit short (top and bottom of the monitor glass are not used by the display), but the width is just too big. This resulted in the protective film being 1/4 inch from the glass on each side. I only used one, but figured the razor and straight edge could reduce the width of the others by about 1/10th of an inch and they would match. Big. I tested the screen protector with both my finger and a passive capacitive stylus. I didn't notice any degradation in touchscreen response. A deal breaker for me and the reason they earned two stars was the degraded image quality. These are not "high definition" as the product name says, they are matte. Colors were dull and image sharpness dropped significantly. This made my photos look blurry and put customers off. I ended up throwing away the one block I applied and saving the rest in case I ever use laptops for anything other than showing photos. To return them, it wasn't worth driving into town to the local Revain return location.
