I knew I would need to sharpen these chisels before I could use them, but didn't think I would need to really change their shape since most chisels, which are meant to be square, are crooked and broken off at the edges. I bought these chisels knowing they were not going to be quality tools. I wanted something to experiment with before deciding whether to buy quality tools. Even after sharpening a few chisels, they didn't hold the edge after a few cuts.
