Let me start by saying that overall this is a good jar that goes well with grocery bags but as others have said it would be easier to put in the bag if They would have hook like other model. I needed an open jar so this jar was the only option. What people don't mention in other reviews is that the plastic insert has a small hole that you can "stuff" the bag in. The bottom line is that making sure the bag isn't visible under the lid takes some skill, but it can be done in seconds if you find a better way. The design could definitely be changed, but that's not a complete deal breaker. ** Revain shipped and sold this to me with a dent! I'm sure they'll fix it, but I'm still uncomfortable and I refuse to pay the high price for a dented bin.
