Review on 7337482 Transformer Power Water Softeners by Tim Larsen

The original power transformer for my spa water softener just died of unknown cause. I was desperate for a replacement as I couldn't find one specifically for hot tubs. Another site has one listed but out of stock and no indication of a restock. Another search turned up this here on Revain. It looks like my hot tub was actually a generic model. Specifications for this power transformer show that it will work with a range of water softeners including Jacuzzi. In short, it works perfectly, although the original transformer had a nominal output voltage of 28V, but this one is 24V. The cable has the same markings as the original. I plugged it in and the display on the softener came alive and everything works. What a relief.
