Easiest to install, just pull out the halogen lamp and then insert the LED, they can only work in one direction because they are notched. However, at least the 2016 Colorado needs a resistor. Installing one on each side (there are three sockets (two for 7443 bulbs and one for 921 bulbs) causes the remaining 7443 halogen to surge, which will burn out the smaller filament in the bulb. It took me ages to figure this out discover how i thought the fuse blew (there are no fuses for taillights in Colorado) Also if you put 4 of these leds i think there will be a problem with the hyperflash (turn signal, blinking too fast) Recommend these " , if you have the resistor included, otherwise buy with the included resistor.Send back these LEDs and replace the OEM halogen bulbs (as these LEDs burned out 3 of them).
