I've been looking for a HDMI audio extractor with built in volume control for a long time and found this one No reviews. Decided to take a chance and much to my delight everything turned out great!… That's why I'm writing this review now as I feel it deserves solid positive reviews. I tested almost everything on this HDMI audio extractor. - The volume control works well and adjusts the volume of the analog 3.5mm and RCA audio outputs as expected. Unlike some of this product's other competitors, the volume control is securely adjusted and the analog L/R outputs are properly balanced. The digital SPDIF (TOSLINK) output also worked great, although given that it's a digital signal there really isn't much that could go wrong here (other than it just doesn't work). All EDID settings work as they should and there is no noticeable degradation or additional delay with HDMI video. the signal still goes through the HDMI output, for those wondering. tl; dr: All in all a great, high quality product that does what it's supposed to do and at a very reasonable price. would recommend.
