Audiophile? Stop it now. This soundbar isn't for you, but it's for many who want a really decent upgrade to their TV sound. This soundbar with integrated subwoofer is designed to enhance the three TV inputs: movies, music and most importantly, voice inputs such as news and other talking heads. I immediately noticed an improvement in speech intelligibility on the news programs I listen to. j. Noticeable increase in clarity and understanding. There are too many grumbling TV journalists out there, and that certainly helps me understand what they're talking about. Musically, I live in an apartment, so I listen to apartment-sized music—jazz for small groups and classical for small groups—and the word "clarity” pops up again. You can hear the full spectrum of sounds from musicians from each group. The tonal range of the instruments is not expanded but implemented, which is good. what about movies Decent rendition of dialogue and film music - that happens.
