Worth a penny! My first bath lasted about 1 year assuming I shave every other day. You do NOT need much when using a boar hairbrush, that's the key. I just dip my medium bristles in MAYBE 1/4 inch and it's still too much. I get a nice thick foam. This shaving cream helps me a lot. One note: make sure your top is closed tightly. I left mine partially open and it started to get hard. I just mixed a few drops of water to solve this problem. On the other hand, I did not use the pre-shave oil from AOS, I use cheap tin castor oil. Works just as well, and for $2 you can use whatever you want! FYI, African Americans, we've all learned the hard way about the aftermath of a bad shave.
