Polka dot print not on both sides

I bought these with the intention of my child wearing them but was disappointed to find that there were only polka dots printed on one side. I was able to "adjust" them for photos, but unfortunately we won't be wearing them.

Pros

Worked. My son looked great at the wedding

Cons

They fit my kid perfectly but the graphic is upside down. Did I get a defective one?
