First of all, I don't use them for photography and video. I only use them for lighting in my home office. They work as advertised. continuously adjust the color temperature; This is achieved by using two sets of LEDs and adjusting their relative brightness. thus, brightness and color temperature are related, with overall brightness peaking in the middle of the color temperature range. The overall brightness is impressive. To be honest, I use it almost exclusively at minimum brightness (20%). I use them for a) reading and b) lighting for video conferencing. Applications, they are fantastic general purpose office lights. Order two more for a reading futon.
