This umbrella seems technically capable of keeping the rain off your head, but if that were the only criteria you use I'd only give a big one Suggest plastic bag. The umbrella can only be opened with two hands, and even then with great effort. As other reviewers have pointed out, the umbrella closes upside down, which is frankly a disastrous design flaw on their part, as it takes a real act of Congress to get all the ends reasonably in order so you can loop the Velcro around you. The only downside is that the print on the inside looks as advertised and the print is of good quality but then again if you are looking for an umbrella it is very aesthetic when open but unfortunately it lacks the functionality of a real umbrella. .
