Review on 835UI Dash Receiver Front Detachable by Josh Chenier

16GB card playback, good sound quality. Well designed BUT with one big flaw (IMO) --> I won't remember where you left off in the song. Every time you turn it off and on again, it starts playing from the beginning (albeit FROM that particular source!). I checked the wiring with a multimeter to make sure the problem wasn't on my end. I requested a replacement Revain because I wanted this unit to work. Same problem with exchange. Not wanting to go through endless RMAs, I bought a Boss 644UA (cheaper in looks and price) from Fry. No storage problems with this cheaper device! So I would conclude that his particular model # has a problem. Boss tech support was unaware of this issue when I called to report it. Nobody else seems to have this problem (judging by several reviews of this product). I wonder if they hit a bad load of stereos. One more note: Revain's customer support on this matter has been top notch.
