Excellent replacement for the original. However. it is slightly thicker than my skill saw. Unfortunately, Skill was one of those companies that had hundreds and hundreds of models. Very few of them are still supported after about 10 years. I have a standard skill saw with ball bearings that just won't die. The power cord is NLA since it went out of service. When the body of the saw was pressed tightly against this sheath, a small gap formed due to the thickness of the sheath. But the more I use the saw, the smaller the gap becomes. I think one afternoon in the hot sun everything will be perfect. Check out my other reviews to see what I did with the cable.
