Get this when the car remote falls apart!
First, make sure the number of buttons on the original remote matches the replacement remote. The inside of my car remote fits perfectly in this new case. Remember, this is an empty remote shell containing your old guts (sort of). This outweighs the cost of a brand new remote from the dealer.
- Take the internal electronics (including the immobilizer/transponder chip) from the original remote control and put them in our key case and you're good to go!
