Review on 📏 Stanley 33-730 30ft 4in Measuring Tape by Issac Burnett

They used thinner spring steel with about half the flex as before. Maybe the plan was to make it lighter to get the same excellent result with less metal? Not in the real world. Thing is, it's now a flimsy band that can't even stand upright in 5 mph winds with less than 4 feet of stretch. Now I have to buy multiple tapes for each order (large customs houses) instead of just one a year. Someone else has to make a decent tape.
