Glossy and pretty on the outside, matte on the inside

I was a bit disappointed with the comfort and sound quality of these headphones. The band stretches well, but the angle of the speakers themselves seems to pinch on the tops of the ears. They may take some time to break in but now both my 3 year old and 7 year old complain that they fit snugly around their ears. My 7 year old said they were "pretty comfortable but not very comfortable". The sound is flat and tinny and can also be hoarse. However, I made them sound decent with the equalizer. The maximum volume is not very loud, which I consider a plus for children. They're a little louder than the volume controlled baby headphones I've bought in the past, but definitely quieter than standard headphones. Visually, they are simply adorable. The glittery headband and jeweled speakers are so cute and my girls just love them. And the presentation? Oh God. I don't think I've ever seen my kids get so excited to open an Amazon package. Headphones are packed in a nice box. Inside the box, the headphones are wrapped in pink bubble wrap with bubbles shaped like a heart. The box contains headphones, 4 notepads in the shape of a unicorn and 3 sheets of stickers. My girls really enjoyed opening the bubble wrap and immediately applying stickers to decorate their boxes. When not in use, the earphones are put back in the box. I give presentations 10/10. Overall I would probably go with other headphones based on what I know now, but I wouldn't say I'm dissatisfied with the purchase. We'll get them working for now and probably pass them on to others when they outgrow them.
