Not strong at all for bags and cases
1. The main problem is that the bottom of the bag is soft and bends so everything shifts and moves when you pick it up. The elements actually move under the separators. It was neither thick nor heavy.2. The baffles do not fit snugly and stay square in the grooves. Since the sides of the bag aren't very strong, you can't really fit the dividers into every slot you want. they drop out. They looked great without the packaging. Unfortunately I bought it a few weeks before my holiday trip and by the time I put on my makeup and discovered these issues it was too late to return it.
