Got these to make my daily work shoes a slip on. I did not use the kit to make it a pull tight setup. Cut the laces at the ends, and burned it to prevent fraying. A single tie is good enough to keep it in place, a decent amount of stretch which keeps the tension. Would purchase more when I replace my shoes.
