Installation was quick and easy. probably less than 10 minutes, leaving me some time to play with my cat with the old laces (cats do love that kind of stuff). *Customer service already reached out and they’re sending new end clasps. I had faith that this would happen, but it’s good to have peace of mind.*One of the lace end clasps will NOT lock in place. The slot/tab does lock together.I’ve purchased/used Xpand flat laces many MANY times but this is my first time with the round laces. I love their products and I’m hoping that they can help me fix this issue. When they do, I will gladly give a glowing recommendation for these round laces.

Got these to make my daily work shoes a slip on. I did not use the kit to make it a pull tight setup. Cut the laces at the ends, and burned it to prevent fraying. A single tie is good enough to keep it in place, a decent amount of stretch which keeps the tension. Would purchase more when I replace my shoes.

Following the instructions was pretty easy, and I am very glad I purchased this product. I have been using this lacing product on my daily wear shoes for a while now and am considering purchasing more of them for my family. These were kind of tough to work with. The lace ends were too large to fit thru parts of my Adidas. So I had to cut off the plastic tips so they would fit thru some of the shoe eyelets and that was a mess. The instructions were extremely basic, yet not very clear. A video might have been helpful. The fastener design & mechanics were basic as well. I'm giving these an average score because I have owned better barrel-slider type solutions.

I couldn't figure out how to attach the little locking piece that attaches to the end of the elastic lace. May not be suitable for people with vision impairments.

I bought the laces for a new pair of winter boots. Everything about them is just as I expected, EXCEPT. the quick release clasp. Oh it releases just fine. But if, like me, you have severe arthritis in your hands, especially the fingers, then tightening up and locking the laces into place is a complete BEAR!I only give 4 stars because of that & for me this issue makes only 3 stars more appropriate. Sorry. Probably have to go back to the other brand next year.easier on semi-crippled hands.

I love this product for easily slipping my shoes on and off. They were easy to install and work well with the style of shoes I have.

They fit well, I like that they have extra length to fit different shoes. It was a little tricky getting them set up the first time. I’ve had them about a week and they seem to be holding up well.

Quality laces that have great compression and hold the shoe tight when setting the strings with black adapter. Easy to install after watching a very quick video lesson on xpand site. A little concerned about the top black piece that strings go into to tighten. Not sure of durability but time will tell.

I had some nerve damage and my right hand several years ago. Tying shoelaces is a real challenge for me now. These laces work great. Once I get it set to the right feel, I never have to worry about taking them off or on!

These appear to be a good alternative to laces. However, certain shoes have the vertical lace binding in addition to the lace eyes. If you put the lace into the vertical lace binding and try to pull it back out, the lead lace end pops off

Exactly what I needed. We had a little trouble putting the clip on the ends of the laces, but were able to figure it out. Simple. Look great.
