Not only does it hold your passport but a lot more and I still had room. I ended up using it as a mini wallet as it had room for everything else I needed. There I was able to put my passport along with all the other cards I took with me, ID card, lip balm, lip gloss, telephone and charging cable. Despite all this, there was still some space left inside. Didn't weigh it down or make it too heavy for me to carry. It comes with a wrist strap that you can easily put on or take off. I decided to take it off and attach my own shoulder strap that fits around the D-ring. Even made the security check easier as everything fit in and I didn't have to keep anything in my pockets.
