I am an old apple cub, in 1999 I bought an iBook, loved it and suffered with it at the same time, then in 2022 a 15" MacBookPro (then it was like now 16" in terms of power and price). Well, a few iMacs in between. Now I needed a powerful device to work with GoPro videos, surf, torrents, infrequent movies and very infrequent games. I also needed a station to sync my iPhone, all my iMacs are extremely outdated. Sometimes pick up something frivolous in After Effect for videos, a little Motion, and, well, mostly Final Cut. Music, movies - 5-6 hours, depending on the brightness of the screen. This is still a fresh battery. The speed of releasing a movie in Final Cut is amazing - a minute of 2704x1520 video with a bitrate of 70 mpbs is released in h264 in 25 seconds. It's just fantastic for my mind. Yes, most likely, I needed to take an iMac again for my tasks and not sweat about heating the laptop, but I really want to mount it while sitting in an armchair and lying in bed))
