Review on Organic Vanilla Essential Oil - 100% Pure for Aromatherapy, Diffusers, Massages, Soap Making by Orwin Greener

Fragrance oil, NOT an essential oil.

I have been working with essential oils for many years. I decontaminate them, make skincare products and soaps for sale and for myself. Vanilla is one of my favorite scents to work with. This oil is a chemically produced vanilla flavor. It smells more like a sugar cookie with hints of flowers than pure vanilla. This is not an essential oil. In the world of vanilla, there are vanilla absolutes, vanilla extracts, vanilla flavors, and vanilla fragrance oils or blends. There is no real vanilla essential oil. The price is also an indication that this is a fragrance oil and not vanilla absolute, which is also used as a fragrance. Vanilla absolutes are very expensive and smell like pure vanilla. It is very cheap for two bottles and contains a chemically produced fragrance oil. It is not a bad smelling fragrance oil, it is simply not an essential oil and should not be claimed as such.

Pros
  • Massage tools and equipment
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
