Got this to replace a "built-in" microwave that finally died. The old one was not truly build in, but rather sits above a built-in oven in a big hole in the cabinet with some metal trim around it.To start with, the dimensions are a little off. The listed dimensions were identical to the old one, but the top and bottom are about 1/2" shorter than the old one, and I had to use weather stripping to fill in the unsightly gaps.Operation wise, I like the fast 30 seconds feature. each push of the start button adds 30 seconds. Each number button will also start for that period of time (2= 2 minutes, 3= 3 minutes, etc). Otherwise for an exact period of time, you have to push the power button first, then type the time, then start. It's confusing and anyone who visits us can never figure out how to use it. It is also significantly quieter than our old one, and you can't even tell it's running. Many of the complaints are about the reminder feature, which makes 3 loud beeps every 30 seconds after the cycle is finished until you open the door or push a button. It is annoying, and unfortunate you can't turn it off, but we've gotten in the habit of popping the door right when it finishes, or not walking away until it's done.
