This printer prints really well if you know how to print (make sure the colors aren't too dark/don't forget to set the settings for the right paper/etc.) . I am a working artist and bought this to make cheap prints of my work and the colors are very similar to the digital versions. Colors like purple and brown, which are usually quite difficult to print, come out pretty well now. So far I have used many different types and weights of paper and it has worked consistently with all types. If you're having trouble getting the right colors and resolution, it's most likely an issue with your settings and not this printer. It was also very easy to set up for me, the instructions were quite simple and my computer connected directly to Bluetooth. The only downsides are that it's very slow, text speed is ok but images are another story but the print quality makes up for it in my opinion. Also, be prepared to find it difficult to find cheap ink kits made specifically for this printer. It looks like there are other Canon printers that are easier to find. And if you plan to print a lot of pictures, you'll use up ink in no time. Overall I'm very happy with this printer for the price, it's not overly flashy like some of the more expensive printers. guns, but it does its job well.
