Works perfectly! Best in Computers & Accessories

This is exactly what I was looking for. I just had to connect to the network. Everything got up normally, there were no problems connecting to the computer. Doesn't feel flimsy or cheap.

USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

The color is a bit darker than I thought; works well from the start, when it came out of the box the performance was as I thought it would be; Don't worry, reliable product.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Simple and straightforward: USB network adapter

I needed this for my new MacBook Pro. It's very simple and it's really "plug and play". I did speed tests and checked everything. That lasted about a minute. It is very light and beautiful design. The price is right too. Nothing more to say as this is a very simple but important adapter. I love it!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

High speed connections are still required

I recently bought a gaming laptop but am annoyed that it doesn't have a network cable port. Wi-Fi doesn't really work in the game world, even with AC. This device put me back on the path to high-speed Internet access. It was easy to install, just plug it in and Windows 10 recognized it and started working.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Frequency

Doesn't offer gigabit speeds

I have a gigabit internet connection and couldn't transfer more than 300 Mbps with this device. I bought another device from another vendor (uni) and was able to get pretty close to gigabit transfers. In summary, this device does not perform as advertised and does not come close to gigabit transmission. Stay away.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Crumpled

At first it worked perfectly, then it got slower than a turtle on ice.

Plug n play, makes installation easy. Installed first, it's almost full 1GB speed (I have a 1GB connection). When connecting to Speedify, I noticed that the adapter (I used 5 connections to connect) performs horribly. So I stopped the link, isolated the adapter and tested it to find that it was downloading at 0.15MB/s but uploading at 16MB/s (which is the max download speed on my connection. I also use Cat -8 cable for maximum speed on lines.I even tested other lines.I tested two USB-C ports on

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Updates

Ethernet on the Go

I need an ethernet adapter for my ultrabook that doesn't have a port for one but has a USB port. Using port C over USB is much more reliable for speed, which is why I gave this product a try. Install Plug n Play on Windows 10 and it works great. Haven't tried it on Ubuntu yet, but I think it works. This adapter also works on most Android devices with Type-C ports. Very useful if you use Microsoft Xcloud or Google Stadia in this generation.

Pros
  • Compatible with USBC and Thunderbolt 3 - for Apple MacBook Pro 13/15/16 (2016/2017/2018/2019/2020), New MacBook Air, New iPad Pro, New iMac, MacBook 12, Surface Pro 7/ Book 2/Go, Chromebook, HP, Dell, Acer etc (see product description)
Cons
  • When in doubt

Plug-n-Play - easy installation. Installed first, it's almost full 1GB speed (I have a 1GB connection). When connecting to Speedify, I noticed that the adapter (I used 5 connections to connect) performs horribly. So I stopped the link, isolated the adapter and tested it to see that it was downloading at 0.15MB/s but uploading at 16MB/s (which is the maximum download speed on my connection. Pros
  • Plug and Play - Automatic installation of built-in drivers for Mac, Windows 10/8.1/8, Chrome and Linux OS (devices with a full USB-C port only. For Windows 7/XP and some devices). Also compatible with the new iPad Pro 11/12.9 (with USB-C connector) without any configuration

Metal Debris in USB-C Port

Check USB C port connection before connecting the computer. The one I received was not immediately recognized by my Macbook Pro. I pulled it out and noticed that there was some rough metal debris attached to the inside corner of the USB-C port. It looks like the metal part of the connector hasn't been properly formed or cut off. I tried unplugging the junk and plugging it back in and then the adapter was determined. However, the part where I removed the trash is still a bit rough and I will get

Pros
  • USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet - LENTION Network Adapter provides Gigabit Ethernet connection up to 1000Mbps, downstream compatible with ultra-fast 10Mbps/100Mbps/ s network, much faster and more reliable than most wireless connections
