Review on Geloo Silicone Sponge Dish Sponges: Double-Sided Cleaning Kitchen Gadgets (3 Pack) by Mario Beckwith

The product is disappointing. I'm trying to take care of the environment so replacing the silicone dish sponge sounded very interesting. But the reality is very different from my expectations. I used it for 5 days before giving up and buying a new sponge. It probably cleans better in the microwave than a dish sponge, but there are many downsides. It does not clean dishes or glasses easily or well. Haven't tried it on my stainless steel pans but I expect it to be the same. It's quite slippery on some surfaces and surprisingly difficult to move on others. It doesn't hold soap which means you waste a lot like you used to. to reload it frequently. Since it doesn't hold soap, I had to use my hand to wipe the soap off the dishes. It does a good job of wetting and loosening dried liquid spills on surfaces, but then you have to use something. Otherwise, it won't absorb any water at all, while a sponge will absorb most of the water and just need a quick wipe or just air dry. Does a REALLY good job removing pet hair from chairs, blankets etc so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.
