Review on Weber Rapidfire 7416 Chimney Starter by Micha Dobrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

The starter was given along with the grill. Before that, there was an experience of using some kind of no_name starter - I was not impressed. According to the recommendation from the weber, you need to lay a newspaper down, but I always kindle without it, I just put a briquette of dry kerosene or ordinary briquettes for ignition under the starter. Coals fell asleep different and ordinary and weber. If everything is clear with the second, then in the first case it all depends on the coals: if they are large - that is, there is space between the coals for air to walk - they ignite perfectly, after 10-15 minutes the coals are ready, otherwise everything is proportional to the size of the coals . The most important thing is that now I don’t use chemistry for ignition and this is the main plus.

Pros
  • Great for igniting coals
Cons
  • After the first use, the look is not as aesthetic as new. But these are trifles
