Review on ๐ŸŽฎ USB Wired Joystick Gamepad Controller with Double Vibration Feedback Motors for PC Computer Laptop Windows - Black by Kenneth Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good controller for the price!

* I bought this controller in 2017, as of 2020 it still connects and works fine. I've since switched to a wired Xbox controller with a soft grip for PC use, but still keep it as a backup. I would say it was definitely worth it. :)----------------------------------------------- ------------- ------- Original rating: *Note: This rating is based on the first day of use. If anything changes in the next few weeks I'll update it; If not, we'll assume it's still in decent shape. I usually have a rule of waiting a month or so before doing a review, but this cheap little controller really impressed me on day one so I decided to do a review. Feedback like "first impression". Also note that this is my first time using a PC gamepad/controller so I don't have much experience with it yet. I chose this one because it was the cheapest I could find and it looked the closest thing to something I could use as a starter controller as it looked like a generic PS controller. Delivery first: props for the fastest delivery. I've ever had without using Prime. I got this controller on 6.6. ordered and he was on 6.9. delivered, Sunday no less. Maybe not as well packaged as I would have liked as it was mostly in a plastic bag inside a bubble bag, but it arrived intact so I'll forgive it for now. normal PlayStation controller. Good weight, pleasant to the touch plastic. Personally, I'm not that keen on the texture of the axle sticks, it just feels weird on my thumbs. The D-Pad buttons also feel a bit blocky and you have to press them a little hard at first, but it gets a little easier after a few hours of use. No complaints about other buttons. - Controls/Use: The only reason I bought this controller is because I recently bought some Steam games with partial/full controller support and was curious how the gameplay would change when used. Controller instead of keyboard/mouse. As with using the PS1 controller (I'm not sure about later PS systems as I've actually only used the first) you just have to remember that the analog button actually turns the controller on. There were no instructions. included, but from a plug and play perspective it's pretty easy to figure out that they aren't needed. But once you plug it in and let it do its job, it works like a dream. It takes a bit of fiddling to figure out in a given game how/if the controls can be changed to customize it, or which buttons do what, but again, that's to be expected. So far I can definitely say that this works well on a controller. - Supported Steam games as well as some RPGMaker games. For reference, I'm using an old Asus U50F laptop running Windows 7 x64bit. Everything works perfectly. Works as expected and no complaints so far. Good starter controller for the price
