Actually this was the first time I bought a non Sony branded controller. EVER🥸 I was very hesitant to pull the trigger but eventually gave up and decided to give it a try. Everything looked smooth and beautiful from the start, but it looked even better in real life. I really like that the back of the controller is textured and it improves the feel and grip of the controller which is definitely a plus! Syncing was easy and the controls felt firm and fluid like Sony's. As far as battery life goes, it was a little bumpy forming an opinion on the controller. The first use of the controller was really good, I played games continuously for several hours and held up very well, and was able to get a few more hours the next day on the same charge. The next day my mind started to falter a bit. So I started playing and everything was fine, then my controller turned itself off but didn't show that the battery was low. I reconnected and started playing again and then the low battery indicator came on even though it charged all day before using it again so I don't know why the battery was low. So I turned off the controller, put it back on the charger and didn't use it for several days. It seems to be working again with no further testing issues, but I guess we'll see for now the indicator light on my charging station is flashing between red and green with this controller. I was going to give this controller 4 stars because of this, but it just didn't feel right. This controller has smooth controls and a light weight that feels great in your hand. I haven't had any connection issues or premature battery drain since, so I think this is the right review to make a great affordable controller that performs just as well as Sony's controllers!
