UPDATE 10 months later: We love these sheets for our little one. I used to buy cotton and muslin, but these turned out to be the best. Surprisingly they are comfortable despite being thicker. Our 14o's are hot, and even in the west coast summer he sleeps comfortably in them. They have shrunk a bit over time so a deep pocket is no longer a problem. ORIG: The softness and plushness is really nice. We have used cotton and muslin towels in the past and they have been great for our newborn/under 5 month old. But since he can turn over and prefers to sleep on his stomach, that's good for him because his face is on the sheet most of the night. I don't like that they are too stuffed. This might work for some people, but for us it was too much fabric and buns. We have a Newton mattress for the cot. Consider getting underwear suspenders to keep the sheet in place.
