So I bought this for my elderly cat who is easily stressed by new pets in the house or even when the animals in the house seem to be very active she is easily stressed . I give her calming treats and they work relatively well, but trees can get expensive at times so I bought this collar hoping it would last longer. The paint is odorless to a human nose, which is nice, but this thing keeps falling off! I couldn't get it to stay on my cat and most of the time she just sleeps, she doesn't scratch it or get into embarrassing situations that make her fall, she literally just lays down and it's pretty easy to unbutton. ... It actually seemed to scare her more for the first few days, but after that it was nothing different than before when she wasn't wearing it. I personally wouldn't recommend this collar to anyone just because it didn't work for me, but if you're willing to spend the money and try it, you can. To each his own :-) After about 3 weeks I don't even know where the caller went because he disappeared somewhere in my house because he fell off her again and I don't feel like looking for him.
