I bought these to replace the reverse lights on my 2014 Lexus RX350 when one of the stock lights burned out. The Lexus dealership was charging a lot of money to replace the bulbs (it's good to replace both if one burns out), so I decided to do it myself. I first checked the car's owner's manual to see if the headlights can be replaced by the owner, the diagram in the manual to see the simple procedure, and then installed these new headlights, which is very simple and quick. The original old-style filament backup lights weren't very bright; These LED replacements are much brighter and greatly improve rearward visibility through the rearview mirrors and backup camera. (The lights are really bright, but not like airplane landing lights—those who know what I mean know what I mean.) They're more expensive than incandescent bulbs, but at $2.25 per bulb, they're a good deal and installable. they themselves saved the labor costs that I would have incurred at a dealership. I bought a set of four to have spares; and luckily they turned out to fit in my wife's car. Bottom Line: While I can't speak to durability because I just installed these lights, the price, brightness, and ease of installation make them a winner.
