Fits as expected, our child is a size 8-10, he is 54 inches tall and 60 pounds shy.

For comparison, my son is on the light side, only 60 pounds and 53-54 inches tall. We have 8-10 and it fits perfectly. At the rate kids grow it probably won't last more than a year if you choose the perfect fit. Either way, he looks good in it and loves that he doesn't have to fiddle with the straps. 5 Stars!
