This is a well made, practical surge protector with good connector alignment and two USB ports, which is why I bought it. The only thing is that it plugs into an outlet, but it also requires an outlet cover screw, which I found odd compared to how most are made (which just plug in). Well, admittedly this design would be a lot more secure than the ones that just plug in, but it just seemed unnecessary to me, but that's just minor things.

I really like this product and I like its affordability, but there is a very annoying design flaw. The surge protector has 6 sockets, but they are so close together that all plugs have to be uniform, thinner plugs - nothing bulky or where the cord comes out the side of the plug. So if you have something with a larger than normal power adapter, you'll have fewer usable outlets. Otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.

My house was built in 1950, when there weren't many kitchen appliances for the home kitchen. I'm sure two sockets would be enough for the entire kitchen counter. But in 2021 this is not the case! I just removed the covers and screws for the outlets and installed these devices and the number of plug-ins went from 4 to 12! The icing on the cake are the USB charging ports. It's a simple, easy, and inexpensive way to update your kitchen! A great idea! A good product! Good value for money!

I am generally satisfied with the product, however there are a few drawbacks. I have the appropriate edition that this product should work with. When attempting the installation I noticed that I had to loosen the screw holding the jack cover (very short) and the screw that came with this unit (very long) was not aligned where the jack cover screw should be . walk.
