The Cricut Maker uses a blade detection sensor that prevents the machine from starting unless you have an official first manufacturer blade installed. You literally can't press go as it's greyed out as Cricut thinks there is no blade in the case. Well it's a joke! I want my money back but I bought it as a backup and the return period is long gone. Why sell them if you can't use them?
