I think it's a good set at a very reasonable price, the jets are very soft and clean - I've seen a little water staining on my towels when I've dried them by squeezing the brush heads, but I know it's harder to apply makeup with very densely packed brushes. The bristles didn't come out in the wash. The handles are flexible but feel solid - I don't see this flexibility as a disadvantage as the flexibility will likely reduce wear on the leather by flexing under excessive pressure. These kind of flat brushes really make my liquid makeup perfect and it's MUCH easier and better to apply than using a sponge or your fingers. However, I haven't figured out what to do with the smaller brushes yet. Highly recommended - the quality seems good and the set is very reasonably priced.
