So for the money not a bad deal for what you get. But the reason I give it 3 stars is because they started out flat when freshly harvested. As I shaped them and prepared to glue them to the blade with epoxy, I noticed that they were slightly deformed. With a little more time on the belt sander and some fiddling I was able to sand them flat but that would also make them a bit thinner so I just left them as they were, warped them and epoxidized them. Items received will look essentially the same as the picture (after proper stabilization). The item arrived in a zipped bag and measured at only 5.1% moisture. The cuts were fairly clean and the thickness was as advertised. High quality, attractive, low moisture lumber and professionally packaged lumber at a relatively affordable price. I would not hesitate to buy this item from this seller again. I highly recommend stabilizing this wood before using it.

I didn't buy these pieces of iron to make knives but to make blanks for making bass guitar thumb rests. The wood itself is very fine and has obviously been burned or otherwise dried. The green is very beautiful, the wood is of good quality. Especially after the product is finished and you add some type of oil to the word, like Old English or Tung Oil.
