We have an old house with small rooms. Bike storage takes up a lot of space. This stand holds the bike in place and frees up about half the space. All parts were assembled as shown in the instructions with no misalignment of screws and holes. Once the bike is in place it will stand securely unless you try to move it. As the stand and bike move, the front wheel slips off the hook (to use a better term). The bike stays in place as its weight rests on the hook. When everything moves, the hook slips off the front wheel and everything starts tipping over. It would help if the manufacturer held the front wheel more securely. Anyway, I'm going to add some sort of strap to make sure the front wheel doesn't come loose when you move the stand. For now, and for others who buy one of these, just don't move the kickstand when the bike is in place. The front wheel issue knocks a star off what would otherwise be a five star worthy product. The space-saving aspect and the solidity of the stand deserve four stars.
