For style and looks I would give them a 5. For functionality 3, so the average is 4. They think, and I don't think they will offer the protection that other masks make. I personally only wear them where I feel there will be minimal exposure and interaction with others. But they are beautiful. This cannot be denied. When I first got them I sprayed them with Lysol and they smelled pretty funny. I then sprayed some fabric sanitizer spray and they smelled a little better afterwards. Overall I think they are ok and they are comfortable. They cover the face well and don't rub the mouth too much. If I really had to rely on it I would wear a disposable mask underneath but I find it suitable for my purposes.
